Things aren't easy for Jochem. Taunted and tormented at every turn by his peers, the teenager lives a waking nightmare each day at school. His fellow classmates David and Vera are sympathetic to his plight, but are too scared to stand up to the bullies for fear of reprisal. When Jochem doesn't show up for school the day after a party, the guilt-ridden David and Vera help with the search for their missing friend — but will it be too late for them to say ""I'm sorry""?
