A frontier gunslinger "The Thunderbolt Kid" (Ken Maynard) rides into Coyote Gulch and is asked by one of the town's leading citizens, Banker Wingate (Harry Holman) to help rid the town of Red Matthews (William Gould) and his outlaws gang who are out to stop the railroad from coming to town.
