Clippers’ 10-game winning streak came to an end vs. Kings

Barring a setback, Blake Griffin will soon return to the L.A. Clippers’ lineup.
That’s good news for them because their bubble finally burst Saturday when the Sacramento Kings defeated them 110-103.
The loss snapped a 10-game winning streak by the Clippers (26-14).
The last nine of those victories came without Griffin, who missed his 10th consecutive game with a partially torn left quad tendon.
He told reporters Friday that he expects to return on the upcoming East Coast swing, which begins Thursday at Cleveland and culminates Jan. 27 at Atlanta.
The Clippers had been playing very well on defense of late, but they gave up 64 points in the first half, after which they trailed 64-60.
The Kings shot 51.2 percent in the half, 66.7 (10 of 15) from 3-point range.
