Ayushmann Khurrana - Biography

Ayushman Khurana born on 14th Sept, 1984 at Chandigarh, is Indian actor and anchor and son of P. Khurana and Poonam Khurana and husband of Tahira Kashyap, his childhood sweet heart.

Ayushman started working in theatre in Chandigarh during his college days and also formed theatre groups- Aaghaar and Manchtantra and performed very popular plays.



He also conceptualized and executed street plays and won any prizes at drama festivals like Indigo in Mumbai and Osasi in Pillai and Shimla.

He won the Best Actor Award for playing role of Ashwathama in Andha Yug.

Ayushmann later became an anchor. He participated in reality shows and acted as various characters in spoofs of famous films.

In the year 2012, he made a debut in his first Hindi film Vicky Donor produced by John Abraham and the film went on to do roaring hit and is a big block buster. Ayushman charmed the audiences with his boy next door looks and his whacky sense of humor.

Ayushmann is the winner of the popular TV show MTV Roadies.



He was anchor for the Pepsi Wassup.



He played the role of Fakir Khan on MTV Fully Faltoo - a spoof on Sharukh Khan.



He played the role of Prince Jalebi- a spoof on Jodha Akbar on MTV Fully Faltoo.


He has also anchored shows like- India’s Got Talent on Colors Channel, stripped, super star buzz.



Ayushmann proved his mettle in a sports based show- Extra Innings on Set Max.


He won the Best Anchor Award for a show- Just Dance.

He also maintains his blog well and has many readers and admirers.
