Salman Khan - Biography

Salman Khan born on 27th Dec 1965, at Indore, He is an Indian actor, producer, writer, TV host, and model. He is the son of writer Salim and Salma, and has two brothers actor Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and two sisters Alvira and Arpita. Helen is his step mother. His sister Alvira is married to director Atul Agnihotri.



Salman khan has been voted as the seventh best looking man in the world in the year 2007. He has modeled and endorsed Suzuki Bikes, Yatra .com, History Channel, Mountain Dew.



Salman khan has been a controversial figure involved in Chinkara hunting case, rash driving, his fight with actress Aishwarya Rai.



Salman khan has hosted TV shows Dus Ka Dum and Big Boss and written stories for many films.



Salman Khan is well associated with charitable causes and has formed a trust- Being Human which helps the needy and provides education, medical care for the underprivileged. Being Human sells merchandise like t-shirts, watches, gold coins, paintings and the proceeds from the sales of these products goes to the being human trust.



Salman has acted in about 80 films and some of them are- Maine Pyar Kiya, Baaghi, Andaz Apna Apna, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Karan Arjun, Hello Brother, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Baghban, No Entry, Ready, Tere Naam, Dabangg, Yuvraj, Sirf Tum.



Salman won the best debut actor award for his film Maine Pyar Kiya.



He has produced the film Chillar party. Salman is known for his charitable and big hearted nature. He is indeed a friend to be cherished and at the same time a foe to be dreaded.
