This practise works towards improving flexibility and openess in the hips, reducing stress and improving flexibility. A lovely sequence when you're looking for a slightly less intense practise.

As always, listen to your body and make sure not to over-stress it. And if you are new to exercise, have any injuries or medical conditions, be sure to consult your doctor before starting any new exercise regime.
