***Three examples of important exercises in Eye-Yoga?

Here are three examples of important exercises in eye yoga:

1) Palming:

Rub your hands together to create some energy. Close your eyes. Rest your palms over your eyes. Take long slow deep breaths. Relax your eyes. Palming is an ancient yogic technique that promotes optic nerve relaxation and improves vision. Cup your palms over the eyes making sure that all light is blocked out completely. Picture the color black and breathe deeply, slowly and deliberately to promote complete relaxation.

2) Vertical and Horizontal Lines with Your Eyes

Close your eyes. See complete Darkness. Open your eyes in the center. Now look straight up and straight down, drawing a straight line with your eyes. Inhale as you look up, exhale as you look down. Repeat 10 times. Close your eyes, allow them to be bathed in darkness.

Open your eyes in the center. Now look to the left as you inhale and exhale as you draw a straight line with your eyes to the right. Repeat 10 times. Close your eyes, allow them to be bathed in darkness.

3) Near and Far Sighted

Place your palms in front of your eyes. Focus on your palms. Inhale as you open your palms out to your sides and focus on the horizon. Exhale, bring your palms back in front of your eye and focus on your palms. This exercise will help improve your vision both up close and far away.
