Two Jerusalem stabbing victims succumb to wounds

Two of three men injured in the stabbing Wednesday afternoon outside the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem have succumbed to wounds incurred at the scene.
"Despite vigorous efforts to save him, the wounded man has passed away.
The hospital extends its condolences to the family," Shaare Zedek Medical Center said in a statement regarding the first victim who suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
He has been identified as Ofer Ben Ari, a 46-year-old resident of Jerusalem.
The second victim has been identified as Reuven Birmacher, 45; he suffered multiple stab wounds in the attack.
