Alabama's Derrick Henry wins Heisman Trophy

To the surprise of very few, bruising Alabama running back Derrick Henry won the Heisman Trophy Saturday night over fellow finalists Christian McCaffrey of Stanford and Deshaun Watson of Clemson.
Henry captured 42.2 percent of the first-place vote and led the way with 1,832 total points.
Christian McCaffrey finished second in voting, garnering 290 first-place votes and finishing with 1,539 points.
Deshaun Watson rounded out the top three with 148 first-place votes and 1,165 total points.
Henry has led Alabama to a 12-1 record, the SEC title and a place in the College Football Playoff.
