Government college gulabad students protest and rally for their demands

CHAKDARA: The students of government degree college Gulabad Dir Lower staged a rally for their demands from the college to press club Chakdara. The rally was organized by Mutahida Tulaba Mahaz where students from all students federations participated in the rally. Hundreds of students of the college staged a protest demonstration in front of press club Chakdara. They demanded their college to be upgraded to post graduate. They said that the students were facing problems in their studies as the college have shortage of staff while the boarding students have lack of facilities in the college hostel. They also high lighted that the college building was damaged by the earth quake but the provincial government officials did not visited the college yet nor paid any attention to it. Later on AC Chakdara has successful dialogue with the protesters and the protest was peacefully scattered.
