TIMERGARA: Advisor to Prime Minister Ameer Muqam on Thursday said the PM’ s relief package was meant for all the earthquake affectees and not a single victim would be deprived on the basis of likes and dislikes. Calling upon all segments of society to shun differences in this hour of need and come forward to help the quake affectees.

He expressed these views while talking to local journalists after his visit to the DHQ hospital Timergara to inquire about the health of those sustained injuries in Monday’s devastating earthquake.

Ameer Muqqam said the relief package would be distributed among those actually affected by the earthquake in a transparent manner. The federal government handed over five thousand tents to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and the victims who could not get tents as yet would soon be provided with tents and ration, Muqam said, and added the PM had visited Shangla on merit because Shangla is the worst affected area . He said the PM wished to visit all the affected areas of Malakand division but due to some reasons he could not do so. The government wants all the affected people stand on their feet, Muqam said.
