African leaders call on 'polluters' to support energy transition

African leaders call on developed countries to act against climate change at the COP21 summit. France meanwhile pledges 2 billion euros to help the continent boost electricity and renewable energy. Also, the African Union declares the election of Rock Marc Kaboré as Burkina Faso's new president "transparent and legit". And the UN launches strikes against Ugandan rebels near the northeastern border of DR Congo, this in response to deadly attacks at the weekend that killed at least 24 people.
