Deklarata te tilla jane bere shpesh gjate viteve te fundit nga ana e qeverise, ku rritja ekonomike parashikohet ne shifra te larta, por ne fund te vitit rezultatet nuk jane ato qe priteshin. Shifrat e rritjes ekonomike kane qenë më e debatuarat ne vite, jo vetëm mes aktorëve politikë, por edhe qeverisë dhe institucioneve financiare ndërkombëtare.
Ne te gjitha rastet palet kane dhene versione te ndryshme te rritjes dhe ne fakt, ministria e financave gjithnjë i ka ulur ato ne fund te vitit. Për ekspertët pritshmëritë optimiste të qeverisë nuk mungojnë as për vitin e ardhshëm, ku rritja ekonomike vlerësohet se do të jetë 4.1% në një kohë që banka botërore e parashikon atë 1.6%. Por ajo që shihet si më pozitive për vitin e ardhshëm është se rritja ekonomike parashikohet që të jetë pozitive, megjithatë shifra rreth 2% për ekonomistët nuk tregon zhvillim të ekonomisë por një stanjacion të saj. Jo më larg se një ditë më parë banka botërore uli parashikimin që kishte për rritjen e ekonomisë shqiptare për këtë vit duke e çuar në 0.8%, një parashikim me pesimist vjen edhe nga fondi monetar ndërkombëtar I cili vlerëson se ekonomia shqiptare nuk do të rritet më shumë se 0.5%.
