Këtu, ne këtë ndërtese ne qendër te Korçës, nisi shkrimi e këndimi për here te pare i gjuhës shqipe. Mësonjëtorja shqipe hapi dyert me 7 mars te vitit 1887, ne godinën e dhuruar nga patrioti Diamanti Terpo. Për shkak te historisë qe mbart, objekti është kthyer prej vitesh ne muze kombëtar te arsimit.
Por ne fakt aty gjen te pasqyruar shume pak nga historia e gjuhës shqipe, përpjekjet e patriotëve apo moria e alfabeteve. Duhet rikompozuar jo vetëm se s'mungojnë historitë qofte dhe te çeljes se shkollave shqipe para ose me vone nga "Mësonjëtorja e pare shqipe", por akoma me tej nuk gjen asgjë nga historiku i shkollës mbarëkombëtare te gjuhës shqipe. Dokumentet e fundit edhe ato me tepër fotografi, i përkasin vitit 1912. Shkresat paraqesin kërkesën e qeverise se Ismail Qemalit për përhapjen e shkollave ne gjuhen shqipe. Për gjuhëtarin Ali Jashari, ky muze meriton titullin kombëtar, vetëm pasi te përfshihen dokumentet historike nga te gjitha trevat shqipfolëse. Mungesa e dokumenteve dhe materialeve te tjera, sipas drejtuesve te muzeut ka ndikuar ne uljen e numrit te vizitoreve. Kur kane mbetur me pak se katër muaj nga 125 vjetori i mësonjëtores, drejtuesit e muzeut i bëjnë thirrje Ministrisë se Arsimit por dhe Kulturës te marrin masa, qe historia e gjuhës shqipe te pasqyrohet e plote ne muze.
