Guatemala: Former President Says U.S. Was Behind His Downfall

Former Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina charged the U.S. with pressuring a U.N. investigative commission to implicate him in the country's mammoth corruption scandal that erupted in May forcing his ouster. Perez Molina, currently in prison awaiting trial, asked the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) President Tempore Rafael Correa to intervene in the case. teleSUR
