Four youths were arrested at the MCA-organised debate on the Talam
Corp debt restructuring exercise on September 12.

The four, aged 21 to 25, were suspected of carrying weapons. Two
retractable batons were retrieved from the suspects.

Cheras district police chief Mohan Singh Tara Singh personally quizzed
the four youths briefly before ordering their arrest.

The suspects were believed to be among debate audience at the
International Youth Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

A minor commotion broke out after Pakatan Rakyat leaders decided to
walk out of the event, prompting jeers from the mostly pro-MCA
audience.
