Burcu Tatlıses is a singer/songwriter/lyricist known with her soft voice and strong heartfelt songs. She has written lyrics and music for many local well-known singers and famous television shows in Turkey. Her first debut album titled as “Güzel kokuyorum” was released on March 16th 2015.
The album that has been produced by Cihan Mürtezaoglu consist of 11 songs. Burcu has 10 new songs in which she has co-worked with Mabel Matiz , Cihan Mürtezaoğlu about lyrics-music in some songs and added a BabaZula cover named as “Bir Sana Bir de Bana”.
Album’s name “Güzel Kokuyorum” means “I smell beautiful”. She expresses her thoughts about her debut album simply as:
“If scent is the mist of life, it infuses best in to the songs because music, lyrics are all about expression of what you have lived.”
