Honduras: Opposition Rejects Gov't Proposed Anti-Immunity Commission

To defuse the growing protests fueled by the embezzlement scandal rocking Honduras, President Juan Orlando Hernandez has proposed the creation of an anti-impunity commission comprised of officials from different branches of government. But the opposition rejects the proposal, arguing that some commission members themselves are being charged with corruption and instead demands the creation of an international commission, which is opposed by Hernandez.
