This week, the city of Flint, Michigan announced that the ballot for mayor might be blank in the upcoming election. Why? Because the city clerk mixed up the dates for candidates to turn in their nominated petitions, and everyone turned them in a week late. So, every candidate for mayor might be a write-in candidate.
