Hong Kong murders: Two bodies of sex workers found in Rurik Jutting’s luxury flat, one is stuffed in

A British man was arrested early on Saturday after the police found two mutilated bodies in his upscale apartment in Wan Chai.
The 29-year-old suspect, Rurik Jutting, appeared in Court on Monday and is due to appear in court again on November 10.
One of the women was found stuffed in a suitcase that is believed to have been kept on the balcony of Rurik Jutting’s 31st floor apartment for several days. The body, which had been partially decapitated, belonged a 25-year-old Indonesian national traveling on a tourist visa.
The other victim is believed to be a 30-year-old from the Philippines who worked in a pub. Her naked body, which had stab wounds to the neck and the buttocks, was found in the living room. Local media reports that the two women were sex workers.
Sex toys, a knife and a small amount of cocaine were also found in Jutting’s apartment. The police also found a cellphone containing footage and thousands of images of the corpses.
Prior to his arrest, Jutting was last seen returning to his flat with a woman early just after midnight on Saturday. He then allegedly called the police several hours later at around 3:42 a.m.
The Cambridge-educated suspect resigned from his job at Bank of America Merrill Lynch just a week ago.
