Venezuelan foreign minister blasts US policy as "illegal"

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez charged that US President Barack Obama violated international law when he declared Venezuela a threat to US national security. In a press conference Rodriguez challenged Washington to openly say it does not accept the democratically elected government of President Nicolas Maduro. Meanwhile, the Venezuelan government in coordination with grass roots community organizations is finalizing plans to boost production, eliminate shortages of food and medicines, and combat economic sabotage by the bourgeois opposition. teleSUR
