Macedonia tests body of Briton who died after complaining of Ebola-like symptoms

Macedonia is investigating if a British man who died after complaining of Ebola-like symptoms was a carrier of the disease.
The Skopje hotel where the man was staying has been sealed off and another Briton and hotel staff are being monitored.
Health officials in the UK say they are also investigating but believe it is unlikely that Ebola was the cause of death.
Meanwhile, US officials are starting to draw parallels with the AIDS crisis.
Dr. Tom Frieden, Director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told a conference: “This is a fluid and heterogeneous epidemic. It’s changing quickly and it’s going to be a long fight. I will say that in the 30 years that I’ve been working in public health the only thing like this has been AIDS and we have to work now so this is not the world’s next AIDS.”
Numerous countries, including the UK, say they are boosting their screening of travellers for signs of Ebola.
Some airlines have cancelled flights out of countries affected, but Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, has kept its planes flying.
However, passengers arriving at airports in Morocco are being questioned by medical staff and tested for high temperatures.
