German journalist Peter Scholl-Latour dies

One of Germany’s best-known journalists, Peter Scholl-Latour, has died aged 90.
His television reports included a 1973 documentary filmed during captivity by the Vietcong, and another in the late 1970s accompanying the exiled Ayatollah Khomeini on his return to Iran.
In the 1990s he focused on Islam and Middle East conflicts.
