Bombs fall on Syria, as refugees protest upcoming election

This video, which cannot be independently verified by Reuters, purports to show an attack by pro-Assad forces.

Syria is preparing for a presidential election, and ballots are now being cast overseas.

In Lebanon, Syrian refugees protest against it -- specifically, President Bashar Al-Assad.

(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) SYRIAN REFUGEE FROM HOMS, AMINE, SAYING:

"I would like to say that those people who went out today are against Bashar al-Assad, and God willing, don't think if a million or two million are with him that our revolution will stop. This will let us continue in the revolution and, Inshallah (God willing) victors."

Opponents have dismissed the election as a farce, and say Assad will likely serve a third seven-year term as president.

Syrian TV released video of Assad meeting with a North Korean delegation in Damascus on Thursday.

They quoted North Korea's Foreign Trade Minister saying that
