It’s really not wise to play mind games with cops. A man in Pembroke Park, Florida Matthew Murphy landed in jail for lying to and subsequently mocking officers.

The 46-year-old reportedly called 911 to report that his roommate had touched his girlfriend. He wanted police to come to his home to remove the other male from their shared trailer.

Moments later, Murphy called once again, claiming that the roommate had a machine gun.

Deputies rushed to the home but they soon learned Murphy had lied about the assault weapon. According to the police report, when Murphy was questioned about the inconsistency, he replied “I think he has a machine gun but I am not sure. I got you here didn't I?"

Then he asked, “Did I interrupt you from your doughnuts?”

While interacting with police, Murphy allegedly tried to provoke a female officer by challenging her to a fist fight. Then he used a racial slur to insult her. He even threatened to kill a deputy and blow up a sheriff sub-station.

He was quickly arrested and is now facing charges of assaulting his roommate, two counts of threatening an officer and using 911 to report a false crime.
