Panicked Syrians just moments after a fellow refugee was shot by a Jordanian sniper.
He was shot as the group crossed over into Jordan, say those with him, according to this video posted to a social media website whose content Reuters cannot independently verify.
Asked about the shooting, Jordan's military said one gunman was killed and two others were wounded trying to cross into the country.
Nearly 500,000 Syrians have fled to Jordan since the conflict began. That number is expected to double by the end of the year.
