00:30The scenery on the north coast of Northern Ireland is absolutely stunning.
00:50And this breathtaking location is home to one of the world's most iconic motorcycle races.
00:56It takes place every May and has its own very special place in this amazing sport.
01:03This is the North West 200.
01:05Look at the start of the Todd Scott's TV. He's off the line like a rocket.
01:09Oh, that is terrible. McLean came in too hot.
01:14Oh, look at that.
01:16This famous race has been running for almost a century.
01:20And legends and heroes of motorcycling have all competed here.
01:25Like the five times world champion, Joey Dunlop.
01:28It is Joey Dunlop who leads this race.
01:31Joey Dunlop, really, this is commitment now.
01:33Multiple world superbike champion, Carl Fogarty.
01:36The Fogarty absolutely on the limit.
01:42Road racing hero, Philip McCallan.
01:45And most recently, the big bike record holder, Glen Irwin.
01:49Checkered flag time.
01:51It is Glen Irwin again from Davey Todd.
01:53The circuit is unique, with riders reaching speeds of upwards of over 200 miles per hour.
02:04Its history and heart-pounding action captivate millions of people around the globe.
02:11What a way to spend your week here in Northern Ireland.
02:14Welcome to the 2025 Briggs Equipment North West 200,
02:18and the first of our three highlights programmes.
02:21Now, to many, Northern Ireland is the home of pure road racing.
02:26And at the core of this sport is this incredible event.
02:30With a backdrop of the beautiful Causeway Coast,
02:51the Northwest 200 ensures this country's status
02:54as the epicentre for thrilling motorcycle racing.
02:59And once again, the world's leading riders are here.
03:07Michael Dunlop from Northern Ireland is the biggest name in road racing
03:12and a huge fan favourite.
03:17British superbike rider Peter Hickman
03:19is regarded as one of the best talents in the sport.
03:28And his teammate is another Englishman, Davey Todd,
03:32who recorded a hat-trick here last year.
03:34Dean Harrison represents the official Honda Racing Team.
03:45He has 10 Northwest podiums and seeking a first win.
03:52Northern Ireland's Alistair Seeley is the event's record holder with 29 victories.
03:57He returns after missing the Northwest last year.
04:00And England's Ian Hutchinson rides for a team
04:06run by Northern Ireland's former BSB rider Michael Laverty.
04:12The Northwest 200 transforms nine miles of public roads
04:16into a heart-stopping circuit
04:19which always produces brilliant racing.
04:21He's going to go round the outside.
04:23The long way round never works.
04:24It never works.
04:25The outside line will not work there.
04:27That's it.
04:27Situated about an hour from Northern Ireland's capital, Belfast,
04:33the course is called the Triangle due to its shape
04:37and is renowned for its long, ultra-fast and sweeping straights
04:41between the towns of Port Stewart, Coleraine and Port Rush
04:45where slipstreaming can be the real key to success.
04:49This pulsating racetrack finishes under a railway bridge
04:52and then along the famous Coast Road.
04:55There's certainly no time for riders to enjoy the view
04:58as races are frequently won and lost
05:01on the final demanding chicane.
05:04It's time for the first race at this year's Northwest
05:07and the weather conditions are absolutely perfect.
05:11The superbikes are first
05:12and the rider who has dominated this class since 2017,
05:16Glenn Irwin, with 11 wins in a row, is not here.
05:19He has decided to concentrate on the British Superbike Championship.
05:23Joining me is former Northwest 200 winner Lee Johnston.
05:27That leaves the door open for a new hero to emerge.
05:31What are your thoughts?
05:32Yeah, and there's no excuses tonight, Stephen.
05:34The weather's amazing.
05:35The guys, all the front guys are on the front of the grid.
05:38There's nobody that is not there ready to go racing.
05:40So my money is on all of them.
05:43Peter Hickman is in pole position
05:46and it's time to join our commentary team.
05:49Steve Parrish and Keith Ewan.
05:51It's the much-anticipated first Superbike race of 2025.
05:56The sun is still shining, a bit more of a breeze now,
05:59but let's take a look at the front row of Peter Hickman,
06:01David Todd, Dean Harrison, Alisa Seeley on the Superstocker,
06:04Michael Dunlop, Jamie Coward, Ian Hutchinson,
06:06and Erno Castamo and John McGuinness are row three.
06:09And Paul Jordan sits there.
06:11Mike Brown, Michael Rutter, Connor Cummings,
06:14Nathan Harrison, Josh Brooks not going so well in qualifying.
06:16Sam West, David Johnson and Michael Evans.
06:18And we're waiting for those lights to go out.
06:21240 horsepower some of these bikes have got.
06:23And they're out.
06:24It is Hickman that gets a flyer,
06:26but David Todd is the traditional quick starter on the 74 machine.
06:29And he once again leads his teammate down the road.
06:32Who's it going to be?
06:33It's Harrison that slots into third place.
06:35And then it looked like Seeley to me who was in fourth place.
06:37It did, actually.
06:38Alisa Seeley, as you said,
06:39he hasn't got a full superbike here on the Superstocker,
06:41but it will be going really well around here, I think.
06:43What a start from David Todd into York Corner.
06:46This is the tough bit, though,
06:47as he sideways on down there.
06:49He backs it in.
06:50That is real motocross style there.
06:52So backing it in.
06:53We're on board with Alisa Seeley on the SMS nickel oils machine.
06:56And looking back to the 36,
06:58and that is Jamie Coward, who's had a good week.
07:01Oh, smoke, smoke.
07:02Oh, well, that's not good.
07:03Where's that coming from?
07:04It's coming out the exhaust.
07:05That means it's blown.
07:06It's blown.
07:07That's the end of Seeley's race.
07:08Well, it might have been on the Superstocker,
07:10which is a bit more mild in tune.
07:11Oh, what a shame for him.
07:1229 wins for this man.
07:13He was looking for the 30th,
07:14but it's not going to happen in this race,
07:15but it might do during the rest of the week.
07:17I wonder how much oil's been dropped, though,
07:19if any, there, of course.
07:20He got across the road pretty quick
07:21and got it parked up.
07:22Meanwhile, four laps this race, of course,
07:25and that's a pretty short race,
07:26so it's more like a scratch around this nine-mile course.
07:29Davey Todd, we're on board looking back at him.
07:31I'm glad we can't see his face.
07:32I can as well.
07:33Look at the lights.
07:33You can see the revs up there.
07:35When it goes to red, it's changed gear time.
07:37He's on the brakes hard now,
07:38but what a start.
07:39It was motocross style.
07:39Wow, yeah, but in motocross style,
07:41but it put off everybody else.
07:42They all went wide.
07:43I think they thought he was going wide at York Corner,
07:45so Davey Todd has a bit of an advantage,
07:47and you'll be able to see just how much work
07:48you've got to do on a motorbike
07:49and how much it's shaking its head,
07:51and we're at the Bally Sally roundabout now.
07:54New surface all the way around there as well.
07:56Whether that gives him a bit more grip yet
07:57is still the jury is out.
07:59It looks slippery, Keith.
08:00We saw it last night,
08:01but it's actually giving quite a lot of grip,
08:03but there we go.
08:03Peter Hickman absolutely buried underneath the screen.
08:06Let's take a look at this.
08:07This is the oil,
08:08and this is where Seeley's machine
08:10goes pop up into the Mill Road roundabout.
08:13Oh, you don't want to be amongst that.
08:15Everybody would have panicked when they saw that smoke.
08:17You can smell it as well.
08:19It gets up your nose.
08:19Some people had to go straight on there in the smoke.
08:22They couldn't see where they're going.
08:24Look at that.
08:25Dean Harrison, number three, the Honda.
08:26I have to say, it does look very lively.
08:28It's fast.
08:29Yes, fast, and he's good on the brakes,
08:31but it's in the slipstream,
08:33especially around these bikes with lots of aero.
08:35It really seems to be through the turbulent air
08:37the Honda seem to suffer a little bit.
08:39Do the chicane.
08:40Oh, hang on a minute.
08:41Coward and Hutchinson.
08:43So 12 is Hutchinson.
08:44Hutchie, he's had a difficult week,
08:46but it might come good for him.
08:47A big black line out the back of Coward's bike
08:50onto the tarmac.
08:51So the 36 man is trying to get past Ian Hutchinson,
08:54but he's wily.
08:55Hutchinson back, I think, on form now.
08:57It's been a long while.
08:582017, I think, when he's last on form,
09:00but now he is back.
09:01New sponsorship or a team with MLAV team.
09:05I like the way this looks.
09:06It's a swing arm that's moving.
09:07It looks like the footrest is,
09:08because it's one,
09:09the camera's mounted on the swing arm.
09:11And note that Hutchie has the shifter on the other side
09:14because of his leg injuries.
09:15Yeah, massive leg injuries that he's had,
09:17and it's taken him out of the racing for so many years.
09:20But he's back.
09:21What can he do with it?
09:22Down towards York corner we go again then,
09:25as our drone gives you the footage into the braking area.
09:27We're on board with Hutchie.
09:29First gear.
09:30Yeah, first gear.
09:31They go second, third,
09:32sort of short shifting a little bit,
09:34but with a left foot,
09:35you can't see him shifting
09:35because he's a right footer.
09:37Absolutely.
09:38I don't know if he's a thumb brake man.
09:39He has a rear brake on that left side,
09:41but a lot of these guys use thumb rear brakes,
09:43and it makes it much easier,
09:45not just for braking into corners,
09:46but controlling the wheelies.
09:48Stability as well.
09:48Yeah, they've got a lot of rear brake
09:50actually in the middle of the corner
09:53and on the way out too,
09:54just to try and keep the thing stabilised.
09:55Then into the braking area,
09:57down towards University.
09:58David Sob being caught down by Dean Harrison.
09:59He is.
10:00Dean Harrison has closed him down.
10:01Then it's Peter Hickman.
10:02Then it's Michael Dunlop.
10:03Mickey D.
10:03You know who they're cheering for around here.
10:06Oh, hang on a minute.
10:07Here's Hutchie again.
10:07Coward can't get up the inside of him,
10:09and look who's closing them down
10:10as well as the 38,
10:12and that is Erno Costamo,
10:13the Finnish rider
10:14on the RVS motorsport machine.
10:16He's looked good all week long.
10:18We even did an interview in Finnish with him.
10:20Yes, I know.
10:20You were very good at it.
10:22But nevertheless,
10:23still on board with Hutchie.
10:24Oh, the slip road.
10:25Mike Brown, Mike Brown has gone down.
10:27That's the MLAV machine.
10:29Michael Labatt,
10:30he's got a team out here.
10:31Hutchie being one of them,
10:32and that's the other one.
10:33Mike Brown,
10:33I had high hopes for him actually here.
10:35Yeah.
10:36Now then,
10:36this pack has broken away.
10:37There's a big gap back now.
10:39Nine,
10:39eight seconds back to Jamie Coward
10:41who's got in front of Hutchie,
10:42but nevertheless,
10:43it's this four, isn't it?
10:44Look at the man.
10:45John McGuinness is in there as well.
10:46John McGuinness is in the armchair of his Honda.
10:50He does have his bike set up to be comfortable
10:52and so you want to be,
10:53but Dean Harrison doesn't
10:54because when you look at this bike
10:55on the bumpy sections,
10:56it is all over the place.
10:58It will be taking it out of him physically.
10:59Yeah, it will do.
11:00He'll end up with blisters.
11:01That's no doubt about it.
11:02Look at that skyline we've got.
11:03Sorry,
11:03I've ignored the track
11:04to look at the sky for a moment.
11:06Davey Todd from Dean Harrison.
11:08Can Dean Harrison...
11:10These two are looking for their first ever super bike.
11:12They're looking for their first ever super bike.
11:13Through the Bette McLean chicane there,
11:15someone's gone through the gravel.
11:17And it's all over.
11:18And I'll tell you what,
11:18when you get that shot blasted
11:20onto your hands
11:20and through your screen as well,
11:21it can be a big deal.
11:22Peter Hickman,
11:23he will have had a few stones in the face there.
11:26So here we go.
11:27This is closing down.
11:29This is closing down.
11:30They look like they've dropped Dunlop off
11:31for just a tiny bit here.
11:32It's these three, isn't it?
11:34Lap four of four.
11:36We are on the last lap now.
11:37Davey Todd then leads.
11:38It's anybody's at this point.
11:40Can Michael Dunlop join them,
11:41I wonder,
11:41on the number six machine?
11:43Doesn't look like it at the moment,
11:45but you never know with Michael Dunlop.
11:46He might have saved something for the end.
11:47And of course,
11:47it's about tyre wear as well.
11:49Track temperature is up in 30 degrees
11:51and that makes a difference.
11:52It's about the ideal window for tyres,
11:54I've said at that.
11:55Remember,
11:55races on Saturday,
11:56there are six laps.
11:57This is just a four lap race,
11:59so it's a tyre,
11:59kind of a tester.
12:01Dean Harrison,
12:01we know a good look at that tyre.
12:03Yeah, indeed.
12:03That's seen better days,
12:05even so.
12:05But they probably went for a softer tyre,
12:07lighter fuel loads
12:08because it's more laps.
12:08It's the centre that you've got to worry about
12:10more than anything.
12:10They put a real tough centre in these
12:12because these bikes at 200 miles an hour
12:14are spinning the wheel.
12:15You just can't push a bike through the air
12:17well enough
12:18and with the bumps,
12:19it's always spinning.
12:20It's pulling more revs
12:21than the actual bike is going forwards.
12:24The two first bikes,
12:25Todd and Harrison,
12:25are on the Metzlers.
12:27Hickman on Dunlops
12:27and Michael Dunlop on Dunlop.
12:29That's a tyre walk.
12:30That's a remarkable thing.
12:31David Todd is on a Metzler.
12:32His teammate,
12:33Peter Hickman,
12:34on the same bike,
12:34is on a Dunlop.
12:35Harrison looked at the inside.
12:37And then it got into a bit of a wobble there.
12:38Well, that's the problem, isn't it?
12:40Yeah.
12:40And as we spoke about,
12:41these BMWs have huge wings on.
12:43You can see it there
12:44at the front of that bike
12:44and that makes the air
12:45even more turbulent.
12:46Look at this.
12:47Hickman's right there.
12:48Look at Dunlop.
12:49Yeah, Dunlop has closed it down
12:50on this last lap.
12:51Well, could he do something?
12:52He always worries about
12:53getting mugged at the chicanes
12:55and now Dunlop is looking
12:56to try and mug somebody else
12:57by the look at this.
12:58Over the link road then,
13:00into the Valley Sally roundabout,
13:01the magic roundabout.
13:03Well, the roundabout of enchantment,
13:04I think our New Zealand friends
13:06have renamed it.
13:06That's very politically correct,
13:08isn't it?
13:08But you can see the helicopter
13:09up above there doing its best
13:11to keep our pictures
13:12coming down from there.
13:13But there it is,
13:14the picture we're getting from them.
13:15Todd's got a bit of a lead.
13:16He's good on the brakes.
13:17Oh, he's so good on the brakes.
13:18He's free of wheels off the ground.
13:21That's so tight on the way in there.
13:23I don't think the camera
13:23gives you a real angle
13:24as to how tight that is
13:26to get into there
13:26and bottom gear.
13:27Right, down into Metropole.
13:29Are we going to see Harrison?
13:31No, we're not this time around.
13:33All the way on there.
13:34These guys are physically
13:35very, very fit.
13:36It's like having someone
13:37on your back
13:37when you put the brakes
13:38on one of these bikes
13:39from 200 miles an hour
13:40down to something like
13:4130 miles an hour
13:41at the Metropole.
13:42Now then,
13:43this is all about
13:44the Juniper chicane.
13:45Who is it that can
13:46make their way through?
13:47Can anybody get under
13:48Davey Todd
13:49to take this win away from him?
13:51It will be his first
13:51superbike win around here
13:53if he can manage it.
13:54He's just got one
13:55massive braking area
13:56and I just don't think
13:57even with the performance
13:58of the Honda
13:58who's close right in
13:59Dean Harrison on the brakes
14:00is good.
14:01But Davey Todd is his equal
14:02and that was running it
14:03a bit tight.
14:04Harrison got sucked
14:05into that corner,
14:06didn't he?
14:06Nearly missed the apex there.
14:08That's actually given Todd
14:09a break up over the line there.
14:10One more corner then
14:11to go for Davey Todd
14:12for his first ever win.
14:13Dean Harrison
14:14on the superbike this year.
14:15He was on a super stocker
14:16last year,
14:17but Honda have come
14:18fully armed.
14:18But it's going to be
14:19Davey Todd
14:20on a brand new team,
14:21a brand new man of bike.
14:23He takes his first
14:23ever superbike win
14:25and a stoppie to celebrate
14:26before Parc Ferme.
14:27Dean Harrison confirmed
14:29in second place,
14:29Peter Hickman third,
14:31Michael Dunlop fourth
14:32and then a long way back
14:33to the resurgent
14:34Ian Hutchinson
14:34from Jamie Coward,
14:36Erna Costamo,
14:36John McInnes in eighth place.
14:38Davey, congratulations.
14:40Your first superbike victory
14:42around this famous circuit.
14:44Yeah, honestly,
14:46that's the one
14:47that's been eluding me
14:48for quite a while
14:48and this one's special,
14:50all right,
14:51like I say,
14:51with the 8-10 team.
14:54You know,
14:54this one's for the boys
14:55and yeah,
14:56actually,
14:57I'd love to dedicate
14:58this one to Owen and Shane.
15:01Two good mates
15:03that we lost there
15:04at BSB at the weekend.
15:05So this one's for them.
15:07Thinking about them,
15:08hope they're riding in the skies.
15:10Dean,
15:10you pushed him so,
15:11so hard.
15:12I know,
15:12I was saying to Pete,
15:13I followed Pete into York
15:15at the lap one
15:16and he sort of always shot
15:17and we both went wide
15:18and he got a bit of a break
15:19and I got the head time
15:20just to bridge the gap
15:20where I can pull him back in
15:21but I was really struggling
15:23to make the pass
15:23side of the slipstream
15:24and getting buffeted about
15:25so much.
15:26So it's a good start
15:27to the week's second place
15:28so a massive thanks
15:28to everyone at Honda's.
15:29They've built a great bike
15:30so it's on to the next one now,
15:32jumping a little 600
15:33so massive thanks to everyone.
15:34Peter,
15:35did you realise
15:35that Michael Dunlop
15:36was closing in on you
15:38for that podium place?
15:39No,
15:40I didn't actually.
15:40I'm not even running
15:41a pit board here at all
15:42but do you know what?
15:43I was quite happy
15:44with what I was doing.
15:46Got away from the start,
15:47made a little bit of a mistake
15:48straight away at York,
15:49hit the brakes
15:50and just realised straight away
15:51that I wasn't going to stop.
15:52I think full tank of fuel
15:53maybe caught me out
15:54after the practice,
15:55broke at the same spot
15:55and nearly overshot York,
15:57brought Dean with me
15:58I think pretty much
15:59when I looked on the inside
15:59he was right with me.
16:01No,
16:01I'm really,
16:01really happy
16:01and yeah,
16:02just thanks to all the team,
16:03all the boys and girls
16:04who've been working night and day
16:05to make sure we were here
16:07and yeah,
16:07doing a good job.
16:08So a superb start to finish win
16:10for Davey Todd
16:12who's on the front row
16:13for this next race,
16:15the Super Sports.
16:16Dean Harrison
16:17is in pole position
16:18but they've got a new contender
16:20to deal with,
16:21three times British champion
16:22Richard Cooper.
16:24Look out as well
16:25for two Northern Ireland riders,
16:27Paul Jordan
16:28and the impressive
16:29Adam McLean.
16:31Can he make it
16:32two out of two?
16:33Dean Harrison on pole
16:34then from Richard Cooper,
16:35Davey Todd,
16:36Michael Dunlop,
16:36Peter Hickman,
16:37Paul Jordan,
16:37Adam McLean,
16:38Jamie Coward
16:39and Mike Brown
16:40round out the front three rows.
16:42Heading off the fourth,
16:43Alistair Sealy's had a few problems,
16:45Ian Hutchison,
16:45Josh Brooks,
16:46Michael Evans,
16:47Piers,
16:47Yves Bianne,
16:48Michael Sweeney,
16:49Connor Cummings,
16:49Jeremy McWilliams
16:50and Nathan Harrison.
16:52And to complete
16:53the first wave of motorbikes,
16:55Mark Conlin
16:55brings up the rear.
16:56So then,
16:59everybody prepping
17:00on your right,
17:02number three,
17:02Dean Harrison,
17:03but watch out for the fast starting
17:04number one machine,
17:05but they're all after the 47
17:07who launches in the air.
17:08Richard Cooper
17:09got a mess of a start
17:10and that's going to cost him dearly.
17:11You've got to get off the line
17:12and right beside him
17:13is the 666
17:13of Peter.
17:15Peter Hickman was there as well
17:16but Davey Todd again,
17:17another lightning start,
17:19Steve.
17:19Yeah,
17:19absolutely,
17:20Dean Harrison got away there
17:21but yeah,
17:2147,
17:22Richard Cooper,
17:23the man that won
17:23one of the races here last year.
17:25Unfortunately,
17:25his front wheel came up
17:26and he lost some time there
17:27but we were all right
17:28on board with Davey Todd.
17:29Is he going to motocross slide
17:30into the corner this time?
17:31No,
17:32he didn't
17:32and Dean Harrison
17:33got around York corner
17:34really well.
17:35They're all with him now,
17:35up the hill we go.
17:36Richard Cooper on an R6 of course
17:38and an R6 maybe
17:39is a little bit long
17:40in the tooth,
17:40Steve.
17:41Well,
17:41they've got top speed
17:42but whether they've got
17:43the push off of the corners
17:44we'll wait and see
17:45but the fact that
17:45Richard Cooper's on it
17:46and he weighs,
17:47I don't know,
17:47about 55 kilos
17:48or something like that.
17:49Yeah,
17:49ring him wet.
17:50Yeah,
17:50ring him wet.
17:50He does get off the corners
17:52really,
17:52really well.
17:53So,
17:53Cooper might be a bit
17:54of a favourite for this race.
17:55It's one that suits him
17:56but the other guys
17:57have all had a race already,
17:58remember?
17:58This is the first race
17:59that Richard Cooper
18:00has been on track
18:01in racing conditions.
18:02We'll see if he's
18:03fresh out of the box.
18:04So,
18:05here we go then.
18:05Slip streaming,
18:06super sport,
18:07what a great class this is.
18:08There's not that much
18:10aero to worry about
18:11and interference
18:12turbulent air-wise.
18:13No,
18:13absolutely,
18:14but Todd there
18:15on the Malenko
18:16by Paget's machine
18:17looking good.
18:18As you say,
18:19he's going to do it again.
18:20He's got the slipstream
18:20from Richard Cooper
18:21and Dean Harrison
18:22has two of them in front
18:23and he goes down the inside.
18:24It might look like
18:25there's plenty of room
18:25but trust me,
18:26there isn't.
18:26It looked like Todd
18:27was the other side
18:28of the white line to me
18:29to try and keep that
18:29where he wanted it.
18:30That's Cooper to our left.
18:31That is the 47,
18:32Richard Cooper
18:32but behind us the number one.
18:34Here he comes,
18:35David Todd,
18:36building,
18:36building,
18:36building,
18:37all that fresh air in front.
18:38There's a vacuum
18:38behind the bike in front.
18:40He was in the curve there,
18:42wasn't he?
18:42And there's lots of dust
18:43still around.
18:43He saw it.
18:44Todd,
18:45is he going to get it stopped?
18:46They touch,
18:46they touch.
18:47Remarkable.
18:47If he gets that stopped,
18:49well,
18:49that was a minor miracle.
18:50So,
18:50David Todd again,
18:51we know he's good on the brakes
18:52but that good?
18:54Extraordinary,
18:55wasn't it?
18:55Absolutely.
18:56So,
18:56we've got Honda in there,
18:57we've got the Yamaha in there,
18:58we've also got some Ducatis
18:59in this class.
19:01Yeah,
19:01watch out for the Ducati,
19:02wait for the thundering Ducati.
19:04Michael Dunlop is a little bit
19:05further back than we might have
19:06expected him to be as well.
19:07Watch out for Mickey D.
19:08He was riding good
19:09in the first superbike race
19:10of the week.
19:11Will he be doing the same
19:12on a supersports bike?
19:13Slipstream then,
19:14everybody looking for that
19:15wonderful fresh air.
19:17You've got a hole in the air
19:18from the bike in front,
19:19you punch your way through it
19:20and then you watch out
19:21for being outbraked
19:22into the next series of braking.
19:24Let's take another look at this.
19:27On board,
19:27a flick right,
19:29new surface coming out of there
19:30and all the way around
19:31the roundabout there.
19:32What is interesting
19:33is we got from the helicopter shot there,
19:35how much more stable these bikes look
19:37compared to the superbikes.
19:39They're about 100 horsepower less.
19:40Much easier bikes to ride,
19:41185 miles an hour top end
19:43and especially if you've got
19:45a bit of a slipstream
19:45like this again
19:46and look at Todd on the brakes again.
19:48He's so good at this chicane,
19:49so good at it.
19:50Oh, that's so tight.
19:52If that front wheel
19:53had hit the back wheel,
19:53we know where Richard Coogel
19:54would have been going
19:55and probably David Todd
19:57for that matter
19:57but the sun is still shining.
19:58A little lower
19:59as the evening goes by
20:01but nevertheless,
20:01still perfect conditions
20:03on board with Christian Elkin
20:04on the Yamaha.
20:04Yeah, Christian Elkin
20:05broke his collarbone
20:06at the E-Bag Colony Monday meeting
20:08so he's come back
20:10with a broken collarbone
20:11that's been plated
20:12and he doesn't seem
20:13to be worried about his elbow,
20:14does he?
20:14Because he's sticking it
20:15straight in everybody.
20:16Back with Cooper again
20:17at the roundabout.
20:19Cooper closes in.
20:20This R6,
20:21I think,
20:21is remarkable
20:22how fast it's going.
20:23It's a really old motorcycle now
20:24and remember,
20:25Jeremy McWilliams
20:26is on an R6 here.
20:27He should have been
20:28on a Ducati.
20:29He's not.
20:29He didn't get the bits for it.
20:31Now, you would think
20:31the Ducati
20:32being bigger capacity.
20:33Okay, it's only twin cylinder.
20:34Would have the push
20:35and the grunt
20:35out the corners
20:36but at the moment
20:37there's neck and neck
20:37between these two.
20:38It looks to me like
20:39Cooper's got the speed
20:40because he's light.
20:41Looks like Davey Todd's
20:42got the braking.
20:43Not going to argue.
20:44Dean Harrison
20:44and he's in the mix as well
20:45with a Honda
20:46on the number three bike
20:47and again that big giraffe.
20:49That's Mickey D.
20:50Mickey D comes to play
20:51on the Ducati
20:52so now we've got
20:53all the manufacturers
20:54you want together.
20:56Wow, look at that shot.
20:57Where else do you get that?
20:58No, look at the shadows.
20:59Oh, there's five of them in it now.
21:01Everybody trying to jockey.
21:02This is flat out by the way.
21:03They're not rolling it.
21:04Yeah, 180 miles an hour
21:05we're talking about here.
21:06Look at the shadows
21:07stretching out there
21:08and they're trying to
21:08squeeze their way in there.
21:10There's a few little
21:10what a spectacular.
21:11Threading the eye
21:12of the needle
21:12as they get into
21:13the braking area
21:14at University Corner
21:15all the way back
21:16down the gearbox
21:17to bottom gear
21:18and again
21:18Davey Todd wipes
21:19the nose of Richard Cooper
21:20but in the mix now.
21:22Michael Dunlop,
21:23this is a four lap race
21:24remember.
21:25Let's take another look
21:26of this
21:26as slipstreaming
21:27all the way down
21:29flat out
21:29they're not rolling
21:30the throttle at all
21:31this is about aero
21:32it's about slipstream
21:33and you can hear
21:34those bikes revving
21:35that R6 will be doing
21:36about 15,000 RPM
21:37Yeah, that's the only
21:38difference isn't it
21:38the restrictions
21:39that come for the
21:40different manufacturers
21:41is whether they're
21:42allowed full power
21:43the 666 is
21:44Peter Hickman of course
21:45he's riding his own
21:47bike in this as well
21:47the Triumph
21:48Yeah, that's a 765cc
21:51So we've got Yamaha Triumph
21:51Honda and Ducati
21:53Wow
21:54and look how close
21:55it all is
21:55Oh, that was close again
21:58Cooper just laid it
21:59across the front
22:00of Davey Todd
22:00they're all trying
22:01to shift gear
22:01awkward corner
22:02to shift gear on
22:03because you're
22:03leaning over
22:04and your gear
22:04shifter there
22:05Iron Maiden
22:06I think he's doing
22:07a bit of head
22:07banging this man
22:08at the moment
22:08he's got Iron Maiden
22:09on his chest
22:10obviously a heavy
22:12metal fan as well
22:13and fantastic sound
22:14from that three
22:14cylinder engine
22:15It does
22:15and that's the thing
22:16about this
22:17Supersports class
22:17all the different
22:18sounds
22:18you've got the
22:19thundering Ducati
22:20the wonderful triple
22:21and then the
22:22screaming four cylinder
22:23across the frame
22:24motorbikes
22:24Here we go again
22:26then
22:26What's for the
22:27braking area
22:28and it's going to be
22:29there
22:30Oh, look at
22:30Michael Dunlop
22:31Michael Dunlop
22:32is coming up the
22:33inside
22:33that Ducati's
22:34got punch
22:34and he's there
22:36on the number
22:36six bike
22:37they're going to
22:37be going mad
22:38in the grandstand
22:38that is for certain
22:39Oh, Davey Todd
22:40not round the outside
22:41that's impossible
22:41It can't work
22:42Oh, and that might be it
22:44that might have
22:44just mucked up
22:45if that allows
22:47Richard Cooper away
22:48because of that mistake
22:50from Davey Todd
22:50he will have held up
22:51Michael Dunlop
22:52Is that what counts?
22:53Cooper now
22:54has the biggest lead
22:55anybody's had
22:56As we start the last lap
22:57Coming down
22:58just about the drop
22:59under the yellow
23:00with the black cross
23:01on it flag
23:02signifying the last lap
23:04of this race then
23:04Now then
23:05Michael Dunlop
23:06can he make a comeback
23:07after
23:07Look who else is coming
23:08to play in this
23:09Everybody's in the mix
23:10That's Sicily
23:12riding the MSS
23:13Kawasaki
23:14the 636 bike
23:15is a nice motorbike
23:16but they've not
23:17really had time
23:17to sort it
23:18quite to the standard
23:19that they would
23:19normally try
23:20Look at Michael Dunlop
23:21Michael Dunlop
23:22on that
23:22thundering Ducati
23:24Well, he's got
23:25another gear
23:25Absolutely seemed like it
23:27didn't it
23:27It is pretty much
23:27a factory bike
23:28and a rubber bike
23:29built in Italy
23:30It is the proper
23:31machine out there
23:32but I can't believe
23:33he got that tow
23:33from Richard Cooper
23:35there
23:35And he's ridden it
23:36on the roads as well
23:36so he knows
23:37what he's doing
23:37as far as set up
23:38is concerned
23:38for that Ducati
23:39but it is
23:40Michael Dunlop
23:40we've got to keep it on
23:41Look at the lead
23:41Yeah, Cooper
23:42this is where Cooper
23:43does have a lead though
23:44that R6
23:45when he's allowed
23:46full power
23:46and all those
23:4715,000 revs
23:48you were talking about
23:49they can't quite get with him
23:50but on the return
23:51back into Port Rush
23:52when we've got
23:53a couple of chicanes
23:54in the mix
23:55that's when it makes
23:56a big difference
23:57Dunlop lining himself
23:58up into the braking area
23:59Dunlop on number 6
24:00on the outside there
24:01Richard Cooper
24:02will drop it in first
24:02David Todd now
24:03third
24:04Dean Harrison
24:04in fourth place
24:05on the number 3
24:06Honda
24:06as they go across
24:07the newly tarmacked
24:08Link Road
24:09and up to the
24:10Valley Sally Roundabout
24:11Peter Hickman
24:11probably just a little bit
24:12off this bunch
24:14Yeah, it is these top four
24:15and they'll all be thinking
24:16about that
24:17Bette McLean chicane
24:18because that's where
24:19the braking area is
24:20at the last corner
24:20the last possible place
24:22to try and pass
24:22Oh, Paul
24:22he had to pull his knee in there
24:24he nearly got it on the kerb
24:25so I was looking back
24:25at Dean Harrison
24:26he just had to whip his knee
24:27in a little bit
24:27as he turned it tight
24:29Now, this is the bit
24:30that counts
24:31Cooper has a big lead
24:33by comparison
24:33for the rest of the race
24:34We are on that last lap
24:36out of the roundabout
24:37onto the rush
24:38down to Portrush
24:39Next stop is
24:41Mathers Cross chicane
24:43Cooper is there
24:45Todd has closed it down
24:46Dunlop has closed it down
24:48even more
24:48in third place
24:49Now then
24:51Dunlop
24:51Dunlop with a wheelie
24:52then
24:53that thing was launching
24:54so look at that
24:54Ducati
24:55punches so well
24:56out of that corner
24:57here comes Dunlop
24:58he's got a slipstream
25:00Yeah, absolutely
25:01he has up there
25:01and he's really good
25:02on the brakes
25:03the front wheel
25:03up in the air again
25:04That is really
25:05pushing forward
25:06if it's pulling
25:06the front wheel
25:07up in the air
25:07Oh, and he's going
25:07to drive past
25:08Richard Cooper
25:08That's not just slipstream
25:10you know
25:10that's raw power
25:11Absolutely
25:12I don't know
25:13if they've got
25:13another button on that
25:14or something
25:14it's like a turbo boost
25:15on it
25:15but Michael
25:16through there
25:17and he's fast
25:17remember that's
25:18where he crashed
25:19this morning
25:19on the super stocker
25:20in the qualifying practice
25:21Indeed
25:21now then
25:22I don't think
25:22anybody's got a chance
25:23here
25:23the way he's shot away
25:24it's like he
25:26like I said
25:26just a moment ago
25:27he's got another gear
25:27running down
25:28into the furniture
25:29when you get down
25:30into the town
25:31it all looks a bit faster
25:32when you're on the motorbike
25:32that's for sure
25:33as it all closes in
25:34now into the braking area
25:36we know Todd's good
25:36on the brakes here
25:37into Metropole
25:38they'll close down
25:39Dunlop I think
25:40a bit defensive
25:41Todd nearly took out
25:42the back
25:42flamed out
25:43the back of the R6
25:44Yes
25:44so trying to burn off
25:46Davey Todd
25:47is Richard Cooper
25:47in second place
25:48but out front
25:49Michael Dunlop
25:50look at the crowd
25:51they are waving
25:52from the grandstands
25:53Davey Todd
25:54this is the last chance
25:55saloon into the next chicane
25:57once you get over Black Hill
25:58and onto the coast road
26:00it's going to be about
26:01whether Davey Todd
26:02can do anything
26:03up the inside
26:04don't think so
26:05from there
26:05Michael Dunlop has got it
26:06pretty much covered
26:07he's looking at him
26:08he's a bit sore
26:08from that crash
26:09you talked about earlier
26:10but he's showing
26:11no ill effects
26:12whoa
26:13in comes Richard Cooper
26:14hot
26:14but it's going to be
26:15Mickey D for sure
26:16through the chicane
26:17we have just really
26:18one right hand kink
26:20and then the left hander
26:21into a fantastic
26:23super sport win
26:24surely
26:24for Michael Dunlop
26:26they will be going
26:27bonkers in the grandstands
26:29Michael Dunlop
26:30he's not taken a win
26:31since 2016
26:31he's a winner again now
26:33over the line
26:34goes Michael Dunlop
26:36to take the win
26:37wow
26:38well number six
26:39takes six
26:40north west 200 wins
26:41and it was impressive
26:42Steve
26:43there is no doubt
26:44about that
26:44timing was everything
26:46and Dunlop had it perfect
26:47Cooper second
26:48Todd third
26:49Harrison Hickman
26:50Coward
26:51Mike Brown getting
26:52seventh in the end
26:52Adam McLean
26:53Alistair Seeley
26:54and Paul Jordan
26:55round out the top ten
26:56Magog congratulations
26:58just what does that
26:59mean to you
27:00yeah you know
27:01it's nice to win back
27:02in Northern Ireland again
27:03so especially
27:03in the international level
27:04on the 600
27:06I must have said
27:06I was sore
27:07first couple laps
27:08I was sitting there
27:08thinking I need to be here
27:09I'm sore to be here
27:10and then next thing
27:12I just said here
27:12it's time to
27:13you know keep going
27:14and I got on the last lap
27:15there and I said right
27:15get myself in the right place
27:17right time
27:17I've been mugged here before
27:18so I said
27:19I need to get my finger out
27:21and the support you had
27:22around the circuit
27:22was incredible
27:23it's nice being from home
27:24so it's
27:24local fans
27:27it's fantastic
27:27so you know what
27:28really enjoyed it
27:29so hopefully
27:30I can keep my head down
27:31keep going
27:31well Richard
27:32give us your thoughts
27:33on that thrilling battle
27:35yeah you know
27:36I felt I had to be
27:38at the front at all times
27:39just to keep my
27:40cards close to my chest
27:41because I didn't want to
27:42drop into the pack
27:43and I could hear the big
27:45Ducati at the roundabout
27:46in a few other places
27:47and I knew he was there
27:47but I wasn't quite prepared
27:49for the speed that it
27:49passed me into the
27:50McAvoy chicane
27:51you know
27:51he rode fantastic
27:52he took advantage
27:53of the last lap
27:55I enjoy the battles
27:56you know
27:56win first
27:57second third
27:58and hopefully
27:58be back again
27:59well done
27:59thank you
28:00so you know
28:00by the look
28:01on your face
28:02Davey
28:03not the position
28:04you wanted
28:05out of that race
28:06it's not
28:07no
28:07you fight for the win
28:09the whole race
28:09and I give it
28:11everything I've got
28:11trying my best
28:14out there
28:14a couple of them bikes
28:15are pretty quick
28:16out there
28:17so
28:17and that Ducati
28:18come past
28:18no way
28:19I couldn't even
28:20get in the slipstream
28:21so
28:21I'll try my best
28:22in the second race
28:23and see what we can do
28:25well done
28:25cheers
28:26so an unbelievably
28:28popular win
28:29for Michael Dunlop
28:30his first at the
28:31North West 200
28:32for nine years
28:34can he do it again
28:35he's out in the next race
28:36the Super Stocks
28:38Davey Todd's in pole position
28:39hoping to do a double
28:41the sun is going down
28:44on a beautiful day
28:45Steve Plater is up
28:46on Black Hill
28:46and he's given the
28:47organisers the all clear
28:48it's safe to ride
28:49front row
28:51Davey Todd
28:51Alistair Seeley
28:52Peter Hickman
28:53Dean Harrison
28:53Michael Dunlop
28:54Jamie Coward
28:55Mike Brown
28:55Paul Jordan
28:56Ian Hutchinson
28:57that's nine riders
28:58you know are going to be
28:59in the mix
28:59and there you have it
29:00John McGuinness
29:01Connor Cummings
29:01Josh Brooks
29:02Ernest Costamo
29:03Michael Evans
29:04Michael Sweeney
29:05Sam Weston
29:06Nathan Harrison
29:07Mitch Rees
29:07is the newcomer
29:08and he's doing it all
29:10Alistair Seeley
29:10not on the grid
29:11there's a gap
29:11on the front row
29:12they didn't get that
29:13bike fixed up
29:14after it blew up
29:15in the Superbike race
29:16so that's a shame
29:16for Alistair Seeley
29:17lights are on
29:18lights are out
29:19and the 74 again
29:20gets that whole shot
29:22it is
29:22Davey Todd
29:23he is such a fast starter
29:24motocross has helped him
29:25so well
29:25and it's his team mate
29:27and team owner
29:28fellow team owner
29:29that slots into second place
29:30Peter Hickman
29:30as we look down the order
29:32to see who is going to be
29:33the challenge
29:33I wonder what we're going to get
29:34at York hairpin
29:35when we get this lot down there
29:37it is the charge
29:37of the heavy brigade
29:39yeah it is
29:40Hutchie in there as well
29:41it's a good start from him
29:42as they go down to York
29:43a little more organised
29:44this time around
29:45still tight up the inside
29:47and that's a place
29:48where you try and make the order
29:49if you can
29:49Dunlop we're looking at
29:50it's Michael Dunlop
29:51Michael Dunlop is looking
29:52to make it too
29:53if he can
29:54Super Sport was
29:55sensational for him
29:57but now
29:57it's about Super Stocks
29:59let's take another look at it
30:01Paul Jordan
30:01we're on board with
30:02he got swamped
30:03a little bit there
30:04there was some fast starters
30:05no doubt about it
30:06but you've got to watch
30:06that kerb on the right hand side
30:08as well
30:08saw a few riders
30:09right close up against
30:10here we go then
30:11bit of slipstream
30:12look at this
30:14Hutchie drops into
30:15second place
30:15on lap one
30:16terrific start from him
30:18well this is the first lap
30:19of four of course
30:19four lap races
30:20on Thursday night
30:21and again
30:22a bit more pushing
30:23and shoving
30:24as we get to the link road
30:25onto that new tarmac
30:26oh up the inside
30:28at the link
30:29no not quite
30:30but I'll tell you what
30:30he looked at it
30:31Dean Harrison is feisty today
30:33now of course
30:34most of these riders
30:35have jumped off the
30:36less powerful machines
30:38they're going to find
30:39these a bit of an animal
30:40again not quite as bad
30:41as possibly some of the
30:42super bikes
30:42but still these bikes
30:43have over 200 horsepower
30:45and will do 205
30:47mile an hour
30:47Hutchie
30:48and that's Jamie Coward
30:50that's just gone down
30:51the slip road as well
30:51so at Mathers Cross
30:53Jamie Coward will have to
30:54stop and put his foot down
30:55and on board now
30:57with Peter Hickburn
30:58and it's hard on the brakes
30:59coming down towards
31:01the back of Porsche Cay
31:02and now he's gone down
31:03and he hasn't peeled off
31:04so now Peter Hickman
31:06has gone down the slip road
31:07and he'll have to stop
31:09and put his foot
31:10in the box as well
31:11he's supposed to
31:11completely stop
31:12and then
31:13no he didn't
31:14he tried as hard as he could
31:15I suppose
31:15but he's back on track
31:17down at Metropole we come then
31:20Dean Harrison on the inside line
31:22and tries to slide
31:23underneath Michael Dunlop
31:25doesn't get it done
31:26there is John McGuinness
31:27John McGuinness
31:28it's always great to see
31:29John McGuinness
31:29he is still a rider
31:30still a racer
31:31and still a great bloke
31:32looking back for Josh Brooks
31:34there isn't it
31:35Michael Sweeney
31:37number 65
31:38we're looking back at
31:39meanwhile
31:41side by side
31:43and into the braking area
31:44and that is what did it
31:46and
31:46yep
31:48just punched him up
31:50he just couldn't turn in
31:51he was equal on brakes
31:53but not able to turn in
31:54and that is a tight entry
31:55so he had to go up
31:56into the chicane
31:57there's Harrison
31:58right up against the white line
32:00at 200 mile an hour
32:01super stock bikes
32:03are so fast
32:04the only thing they're really lacking
32:05is brakes in the end
32:06I wonder who will be suffering
32:07by the end of the race
32:08well it did look like
32:09Peter Hickman has already
32:10but yeah these bikes
32:11obviously use the brakes
32:12that they come with
32:13unlike the super bikes
32:13that have all the latest
32:14big disc Brembo's
32:16so anyway
32:17nevertheless
32:18we're only four laps
32:19this race
32:20it's going to be six again
32:21on Saturday
32:21I keep talking about it
32:22but it's going to be
32:23a lot harder for these guys
32:24on Saturday
32:25looking back up the road
32:26from Metropole
32:27there's different lines
32:28that are trying to avoid
32:29some of those white painted
32:31manhole covers
32:32there's a lot of people
32:33that have been out
32:34fixing them over the last few weeks
32:35that's for sure
32:36shimming them
32:36to the right height
32:37they've done a brilliant
32:38brilliant job
32:39there's over a hundred
32:39manhole covers around
32:40I know it sounds rather sad
32:42but we counted them
32:42Josh Brooks
32:43is on board with
32:45Connor Cummings up behind him
32:46the Manxman is doing it
32:47for the Burrows Engineering
32:48Arcade Racing BMW
32:50back to the gearbox
32:52here we go again
32:54so the number six
32:55still is there
32:56Michael Dunlop
32:57chasing the 74
32:58of Davey Todd
32:59on the 810 Racing BMW
33:03and that's a brand new team
33:05owned by David Todd
33:06and Peter Hickman
33:07if you get a chance
33:08to look at the side
33:10of the bike
33:10for Michael Dunlop
33:11number six there
33:12that's a little bit
33:12scuffed and scratched
33:13from the incident
33:14he had this morning
33:15good art
33:15you could see how low
33:16that sun has become
33:17at the moment
33:18as we get the graphic
33:19for the order
33:20and the times
33:20between the riders
33:21that sun is getting
33:23lower and lower
33:23I mentioned
33:24Steve Plater
33:25had checked it out
33:25from Black Hill
33:26that's where it first
33:27gets in your face
33:28and if it gets
33:29too low
33:29and too shiny
33:30the other thing
33:31about Dean Harrison
33:32Dean Harrison
33:33runs almost
33:33an open visor
33:35a plain visor
33:35yeah he doesn't have
33:36a real dark one
33:37like they did
33:37what a great shot
33:38that was from
33:39Davey Todd
33:39you could even see
33:40the front brake fluid
33:41rattling around
33:42in the pot
33:43Davey Todd were on board
33:44with nice clear track
33:45for him
33:46look at that
33:46what a vista
33:47oh that's not so good
33:48hello
33:49Michael Dunlop
33:50has just blocked out
33:51the sunlight
33:51down through the gearbox
33:54then
33:54the entries to these
33:56chicanes are tighter
33:57than
33:57oh that's a disaster
33:59at university
33:59did he miss a gear
34:01Davey Todd has made
34:02a right old mess of that
34:03and he'll get a five
34:04for footing it
34:04through the section
34:05they certainly will
34:06you know he's looking down
34:07I don't think he got it
34:08down through the gears
34:08because they keep
34:09looking down the dash
34:10it gives them an indication
34:11of what gears are in
34:11I think he probably
34:12went in there in second
34:13and that won't
34:14brake into the corner
34:15as well
34:15you need engine braking
34:17these things are mapped
34:18on the electronics
34:19for engine braking
34:19as well
34:20if you're in the wrong gear
34:21you've got a problem
34:21last lap
34:22last time at York Corner
34:23we are there
34:24look at the amount of flies
34:25splattered all over the front
34:26of this motorbike as well
34:27it'll be the same
34:28for the visor of course
34:29up the hill we go
34:30to Milrow roundabout
34:31and that's a tricky
34:33old corner
34:33tight as anything
34:35for a big superbike
34:36or a big super stocker
34:37as we're watching
34:38at the moment
34:38Davey Todd
34:39ringing the neck
34:40of that BMW
34:41you can see the red lights
34:42flashing on the
34:43indicator for the revs
34:44that's the red light
34:45in his brain
34:46for making the mistake
34:46at university
34:47he'll be so annoyed
34:48with himself
34:48Dean Harrison
34:49we're on board with now
34:50I think he's killed
34:51more flies
34:52and stones possibly
34:54track cleaning up
34:55it's getting better
34:56and better
34:56super sport
34:57we saw the lap record
34:58go
34:58Josh Brooks
34:59was just going straight
35:00oh sorry Steve
35:01I've got to cross you there
35:01because Brooks
35:02he was on a wide line
35:03in fact an impossibly wide line
35:04on the number 7 bike
35:06he's just gone
35:06straight on at Metropole
35:08that's allowed
35:08Hickman to come up
35:09another place
35:10down in 6th position
35:11at the moment
35:11but here he is
35:12this is the man
35:13isn't he
35:13Michael Dunlop
35:14cheers all round
35:16Michael Dunlop
35:16has done the business
35:17he's got a short way
35:19to go
35:19and look at this
35:20wow
35:21we have had an absolute
35:23treat here in
35:24Northern Ireland
35:25and the Ulstermen
35:26is about to do it again
35:27superb riding
35:29he might have been injured
35:30he fell off this bike
35:31earlier on of course
35:31in practice
35:32and he comes to the
35:33checker flag
35:33Michael Dunlop
35:34does it again
35:35and it is a wonderful
35:37day out for everybody
35:38here on the north coast
35:40Dunlop from Dean Harrison
35:41for an Ian Hutchinson
35:42and that brings a tear
35:43to my eye
35:44to see Hutchie
35:44after all the adversity
35:46he's suffered
35:46to be there on the podium
35:48Todd Hickman
35:48Brooks
35:49Cummins
35:49Evans
35:49McInnes
35:50and Jordan
35:51round out the top 10
35:52Michael
35:53you wait 9 years
35:54for 1 win to come along
35:55and then it's 2
35:56aye
35:57aye
35:58I read hard for that
35:59I think I deserved it
36:01you know
36:02it was tough going
36:03it's been a hard week
36:04obviously the crash
36:05this morning on the bike
36:06that initial bike
36:07just took me a minute
36:08to understand
36:09that I'm not going to get
36:10the same issue again
36:11but no
36:12real happy the boys
36:13worked hard to get it fixed
36:14which is a bit rough
36:16and ready
36:16so apologies to the sponsors
36:17but she's going
36:19I've proved tonight
36:20that I'm still fast
36:22Dean happy
36:23yeah I am with that one
36:24honestly
36:24I didn't get off to
36:25a very good start
36:26and I'm back in Aves
36:28I thought I've got some work
36:28to do here
36:29to try and chip away for
36:30and then I saw
36:30Pete overshot
36:32at Macro Boy
36:32I think
36:33and then Davey
36:33overshot
36:34at University
36:35and then that was 2
36:37so that was like 6
36:37then I sort of
36:38picked my way through
36:38a little bit
36:39and then
36:40I had nothing left
36:41at the end
36:41to be fair
