This ruku recounts Allah’s blessings on the Children of Israel after their deliverance from Egypt. It mentions:
Allah’s command to enter a town humbly and ask for forgiveness by saying "Hittah" (meaning: "Remove our burden"). In return, Allah promised forgiveness and increased rewards for those who did good.
However, some among them altered the word and disobeyed, leading to Allah sending down punishment in the form of a plague.
The ruku also mentions the miracle of the twelve springs gushing from a rock when Musa (Moses) struck it with his staff, providing water for each tribe.
Despite divine provisions of manna and quails, the Israelites complained and asked for ordinary food like herbs, cucumbers, garlic, lentils, and onions.
