Steps to Stop (C) from Becoming the Copyright Symbol:
1. Go to Tools - Click on "Tools" in the menu.
2. Open Preferences - Select "Preferences" from the dropdown.
3. Uncheck Substitution - In the pop-up window, go to the "Substitution" tab. - Uncheck the option that converts (C) to the copyright symbol. - Click "OK" to save the changes.
4. Test the Change - Now, when you type (C), it will no longer change into the copyright symbol.
