박원순 서울시장 숨진 채 발견…유서 "모든 분에게 죄송, 가족에 미안"

After hours of searching throughout Thursday night, Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon was found dead at a mountain in northern Seoul early Friday.
With the consent of his family, the note he left has been revealed.
It says sorry and thank you to everyone.
Our Kim Jae-hee has a full timeline of the developments.
On a seemingly ordinary Thursday at 10:40 AM Korea time, a message was sent to reporters saying a meeting scheduled for the mayor in the afternoon had been cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances."
Four minutes later, security camera footage shows the mayor leaving his residence in Jongno-gu District in Seoul, wearing a hat and a backpack.
His phone signal was last detected at around 4 PM.
It was Park's daughter who reported him missing at 5:17 PM.
She reportedly told the police he had left the house four to five hours earlier, after leaving a message that sounded like final parting words.
The first search operation begin soon after that near Waryong Park, where his phone signal had last been detected.
When he couldn't be found, a second search operation began at 10:30 PM.
Only after hundreds of officers and emergency medical workers, aided by police dogs and even drones searched for hours, the body was found shortly after midnight, at Mount Bugaksan in northern Seoul..
It was about two kilometers away from the last known position of his phone.
A final handwritten note from Park was revealed on Friday with the consent of Park's family.
"This is the original message that was found on Mayor Park's desk on Thursday. It reads: I'm sorry to everyone. I thank all those who have been with me throughout my life. My family, I am sorry that I've given only pain to you. Good bye, everyone."
The exact cause of Park's death is yet to be declared.
Early on Friday, police confirmed that a sexual harrassment complaint had been filed against Park by a former secretary.
But there's been no confirmation that was a factor in Park's death.
