Some news just in.
North Korea's Kim Yo-jong, the second in line within the regime,... and sister of Kim Jong-un, says a speculated summit with the U.S. would only be useful to America, not to North Korea,... making the North's stance on the matter crystal clear.
In a statement carried by the regime's state-run news agency,... Kim Yo-jong said another North Korea-U.S. summit is unnecessary and useless to the North,... as long as the two are unable to narrow their differences.
But she left the door open for denuclearization.
She said that, if major, irreversible actions are taken, denuclearization steps will follow, reiterating the North's previous stance that the U.S. must act first before Pyeongyang abandons its nukes.
Kim Yo-jong also reiterated the closeness of the leaders, and said that her brother wanted to send his good will to President Trump and their personal relationship remains superb.
