Upma, uppumavu or uppittu is a dish originating from the Indian subcontinent, most common in South Indian, Maharashtrian, and Sri Lankan Tamil breakfast, cooked as a thick porridge from dry-roasted semolina.
Ingredients: 1 Small bowl semolina roasted (Suji) 2 Bowl water . Vegetables - 1 Carrots chopped, 4-5 Green beans, Peas, 1 Chopped onion, 1 Tomato Chopped, For tempering (Tadka) Few split blackgram (Dhuli urad dal), Few split chickpeas (Chana dal), Mustard seeds.(Sarso).
