It is curtains closed for a Nazi-themed Wagner opera in Dusseldorf.
The 'Tannhäuser', which had been running at the Rheinoper opera house, was cancelled after audience members reportedly became sick due to scenes depicting murder and a gas chamber.
Despite this, director and actor Burkhard Kosminski refused to make any changes for artistic reasons.
