Following her emergency rescue on April 29 from a village in the central Indonesian island of Kalimantan, the albino orangutan is recovering at the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation’s Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Nyaru Menteng. This very rare 5-year old female was immediately placed with a 24-hour veterinary team for a full review of her health and intensive care.
