Man Arrested After Calling 911 to Complain About His Mother

A man is arrested for calling 911 to complain about his mother.

Recently, a 19-year-old male in Florida, Vincent Valvo was arrested for calling the emergency number twice.

In both phone calls, he complained about his mother, stating that he didn’t like how she talked to him. He received a warning after the first rant to 911. He was told about the penalties for using the number for non-emergency purposes, but evidently, the cautionary reprimand didn’t affect him.

He was arrested outside of his home after the second call and according to police, he reeked of alcohol when they arrived. He was later released from jail on a $500 bond but he is scheduled to appear in court in May.

Last year, a Georgia woman landed in jail for misusing the 911 system. Tonya Fowler saw her own mugshot from a prior arrest appear in a publication of 'Bad and Busted' and called 911 to convey her displeasure with the photo.

In another report, a Florida man had his name added to the long list of 911 abusers. The 47-year-old male called emergency personnel to complain that he wasn't allowed to bring his kitten into a strip club
