Drunken people and bars…they seem to go hand in hand.

Well one woman in Fort Lauderdale doesn’t seem to think so.

Mary Jaggers recently landed in court for misusing the emergency system after she called 911 and told dispatchers that there were intoxicated people at Artie's Sportsman Lounge, which is located in Hollywood.

She is also facing charges for possessing the painkiller called hydrocodone. She reportedly got herself into trouble for calling the emergency number, simply to complain about the people drinking inside the establishment.

She called 911 six times over the course of the night despite dispatchers warning her that the line was reserved for emergencies only.John Hurley who is the Broward Circuit Court Judge noted that Jaggers asked for everyone in the bar to be arrested.

Hurley stated “I have a feeling that the mixture between Artie's Bar and the hydrocodone probably led to count two, the calling of the 911.” The judge ordered Jaggers to stay away from Artie’s lounge and to also refrain from drinking after her 911 stunt.

According to Jaggers, her reasoning for calling so many times was to prevent anyone from driving home intoxicated.
