Violent and Deadly Tornadoes Hit the South

At least one person was killed and several injured amid severe weather in Kemper County, Mississippi, emergency management officials said. In neighboring Noxubee County, a "violent and extremely dangerous tornado was spotted near the city of Macon, the National Weather Service said. Electricity has gone out in Macon, and there are reports of damaged homes and businesses.
