Police taser man armed with knife outside Buckingham Palace

STORY: British police officers used a taser stun gun on a man armed with two knives on Sunday (February 3), heading towards the gates of Buckingham Palace.

When challenged outside the center gates he held a knife to his own throat in front of crowds gathered outside Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard ceremony.

A police office used a taser stun gun on the knifeman who immediately fell to the ground.

According the The Metropolitan Police, the the man was arrested on suspicion of causing an affray.

The Queen and Prince Philip were at Sandringham at the time.
