Celebs join forces for video to demand plan to end gun violence

The Connecticut school shooting that left 28 dead -- including 20 children -- horrified Hollywood along with the rest of the nation, prompting gun control advocates in the entertainment industry to again demand better restrictions and more mental health services. A celebrity-studded public service announcement was released by Demand a Plan, with stars like Jamie Foxx, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and more urging viewers to end gun violence. The video comes on the heels of President Barack Obama's announcement that Vice President Joe Biden will lead an interagency effort to craft new gun policies. The group will be expected to offer its proposals in January.
