Jacintha Saldanha's family arrive at a memorial service in the city of Bristol.

The remembrance was held in honour of the nurse who committed suicide after falling victim to a prank call by two Australian DJs.

Saldanha's husband and two teenage children were among family and friends holding prayers at the service.

Candles were lit in Saldanha's memory.

SOUNDBITE: STEPHEN, SPOKESPERSON WHO SPOKE FOR SALDANHA'S FAMILY AT THE MEMORIAL SERVICE, SAYING (English):

"She was loved very much within our small community. Benedict, Junal and Lisha are receiving tremendous support and words of comfort from all ends of the world."

On Thursday (December 13), police told an inquest that the nurse has been found hanging by a scarf in her staff lodgings.

Australian authorities have launched an inquiry to determine whether 2Day FM breached its licence by carrying out the prank.
