Global arms trade

The global arms trade is worth an estimated 70 billion dollars. When weapons fall into the wrong hands they can cause widespread suffering and destruction. In a bid to clamp down on the irresponsible transfer of arms, the United Nations’ disarmament commission encourages member states to declare their imports and exports.
