,59-year-old, Theresa Christian, from Oklahoma was reported missing on a recent Saturday by concerned family members. Four days later, after finally gaining entrance to the woman’s apartment, Christian’s son found her in a deep freezer. Amazingly, she was still alive. The son reportedly heard moans coming from a small room where the freezer was located. He was not sure why she wasn’t able to get out, as the freezer lid was open, but says she is on medication and sometimes gets disoriented. Christian was taken to a local hospital. The family believes that she may have crawled in the freezer, due to bad weather in the area and her fear of storms.
Earlier this year, another person survived the unthinkable. A 44-year-old Swedish man lived inside his vehicle for 2 months in 30 below zero temperatures after his car got stuck in the snow. Snowmobilers discovered the vehicle with him inside. The man reportedly had no food and survived in his car by eating snow and covering up with a sleeping bag.
