Activist jailed for Bahrain anti-government protests

Prominent opposition and human rights activist Nabeel Rajab has been given a three-year prison term for offences related to anti-government protests in Bahrain.

Rajab, who will appeal the sentence, is already serving a three months behind bars for posting anti-government comments on Twitter.
