Bob Hoskins retires from acting with Parkinson's diagnosis

Bob Hoskins has announced that he is retiring from acting after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

The 69-year-old British acting legend has been in more than 80 films, starting in the 1970s on British TV shows and moving on to the silver screen in hits like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Mona Lisa" for which he earned a best actor Oscar nomination.

Hoskins' most recent movie role was as one of the eight dwarves in the dark fairytale "Snow White and the Huntsman," alongside Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart.

In a statement announcing his retirement, Hoskins thanked fans for their support and said he had a "wonderful career."
