In this video I will discuss
Piracetam, Parkinsons and Alzheimers
Parkinsons and Alzheimers are neurodegenerative diseases that
Typically result from chronic damage to specific regions in the brain
Chronic means damage accumulates over time and
Then reaches a critical mass where symptoms become obvious
Healing this type of damage is slow and difficult,
Especially if the brain has sustained significant damage,
But it is possible
Long-term administration of high doses of Piracetam can slow the progression
Of cognitive deterioration in patients with AD, PD or other types of neurological damage
However, the more advanced the damage, the less can be done
This is because neurons don't divide and
Unless you can stimulate the growth of new neurons,
There is no way to repair the damage
That being said,
The particular usefulness of Piracetam is that
It can protect the brain from additional damage and
Thus allow it the chance to heal to the extent that it can
The real value of Piracetam in the case of brain disease is
Shielding the brain from a broad range of toxins
Because Piracetam has a short-half life this shield needs to be raised multiple times throughout the day
The way to help patients with such diseases is not to limit them only to Piracetam (as is done in clinical trials),
But to combine this neuroprotector with brain growth factors
These brain growth factors will allow the brain to repair the damage while limiting new damage
Piracetam should be used together with supplements such as:
Choline, lecithin, DMAE, fish oil, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, CoQ10, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Hydergine and others
And this is how the brain has the best chance to experience healing
Even then this might not be enough and you would need to resort to steroid hormones,
But this is the way to start
In summary,
Piracetam is not effective at directly repairing the brain damage responsible for the clinical symptoms of Parkinsons and Alzheimers
It is however very effective at protecting the brain from more trauma
If consistently used at high doses and multiple times throughout the day then
It can reverse some clinical symptoms of these diseases
However, the best way to do it is to combine Piracetam with brain trophic factors
In this video we have discussed
