For young Polish film-makers, the present is what matters. Jan Komasa tells the story of a shy teenager at risk of losing himself in the virtual worlds. Katarzyna Roslaniec's film deals with young girls who sell themselves to older men in shopping malls for mobile phones or cosmetics. Both directors would like more attention to be paid to Poland's artistic potential.
