British armed forces honour sovereign.

British troops parade through Windsor Castle in honor of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

More than 2,500 members of the Royal Navy, Army and Air Force participated to mark her 60th year on the throne.

Nine RAF Typhoon jet fighters also flew in diamond formation over the castle.

The queen was joined by her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, who she made Lord High Admiral last year.

The event is meant to reflect the close relationship between the monarch and armed forces.
