Officials in Afghanistan have told the presidential candidates to stop making predictions about the results.

Hamid Karzai, the incumbent president, says he is confident he will win enough votes to avoid a second-round runoff.

But his main rival Abdullah Abdullah, the former foreign minister, has told Al-Jazeera's James Bays that he feels he is in the lead.
