Parking violation in Brazil

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: A driver in Brazil had a lucky escape after his out-of-control car literally flew over a creek and embedded itself in the side of house on Monday.

The driver - a 25-year-old - had to be pulled out by rescue workers. He was taken to the hospital, but only suffered minor injuries.

Residents in the house he slammed into were shocked by the drama.

One family was fast asleep when the car smashed through the wall and stopped just a few feet away from the baby's bed, but everyone escaped injury.

Police are still investigating the accident, but they said there was enough evidence to assume the car was over the speed limit.

The man will be charged for driving without a license and for risking other people's lives.
