Pak provoked ceasefire violation on April 17; Havildar Charanjeet Singh succumbs to his injuries

Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Sunderbani sector on 17 April 2018. During the exchange of fire, Havildar Charanjeet Singh sustained grievous bullet injuries. He was immediately evacuated and provided intensive medical care in Military Hospitals. However, despite all efforts the gallant soldier succumbed to his injuries in the early hour’s yesterday morning.
